The course is designed to provide knowledge and understanding on the following topics: the nature and significance of decisions in our lives as humans and in the conduct of organizations and countries, the human and other influences and limitations in decision-making, the main steps that must be taken in decision-making and factors that disrupt it (psychological and other), the models that help and limit decision-making, psychological and other biases in decision-making and other key aspects recognized in the theoretical literature and in reality on this subject.

Course Objective:

The course objective is to provide participants with knowledge and understanding of decision-making processes, to understand the importance of a proper decision-making process, to recognize different levels of decisions and their significance, and to improve decision-making under conditions of uncertainty. At the end of the course, the following objectives will be achieved:

• Knowledge of the decision-making process and its frameworks.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate cognitive issues that influence and limit decision-making processes.
• Ability to analyze the social context in which decisions are made and recognize the variables, biases, and key failures in decision-making.
• Knowledge of the various methods and models that assist in decision-making and their improvement.
• Acquisition of practical methods and tools in decision-making, while practicing some of them.
